“Symbolism is the language of the Mysteries. By symbols (hu)mans have ever sought to communicate to each other those thoughts which transcend the limitations of language” – Manly P. Hall*
Symbolism is a potent communicator. A symbol tells a story through a picture rather than words. It creates an emotional response in the viewer. It holds energy, values & beliefs.
I love symbolism! I notice things while I’m in nature and they represent a symbol to me. A butterfly – freedom and the transformation process. A tui – the beauty of song and freedom to fly. A flower – the blooming & blossoming to full potential.
In Yoga I adore the symbology of each asana (posture). Each tells a story of an aspect of nature; of qualities to aspire to; of potential.
In birthing Thrive in Light into being, the symbolism of the logo and all branding was crucial to me. Not from a ‘business’ point of view but from a ‘spiritual’ point of view. I had clear visions in meditations of the energy of Thrive in Light.
Then there was the union of my visions with the design by White Light Studio. They too could see the vision and have brought to life the heartfulness and the soulfulness of Thrive in Light.
So, what does the Thrive in Light branding symbolise?
- Sun, Moon, Star – all pure forms of light; cosmos; unity of masculine & feminine; divine; true path; radiant
- Arches surrounding Sun, Moon, Star- rainbow energy of light, holy protection, the bridge between the cosmic & the grounded
- Gold – enlightenment, soulfulness, thriving
- Rose Pink – peace, love, self-care
