Divine, Holy, True
Whether we’re aware of it or not, our soul is calling to us. The call is to live our deepest truth and to express our pure essence. The soul is who we really are; beyond personality, job title, relationships, financial status and ego. Fate may have us born in a particular country to a particular family, with particular cultural expectations. Yet, beyond fate is destiny; when the soul is expressed and we live who we truly are. We have the courage to live our dharma (life purpose), to carve our own path, to honour the divine, all-knowing and pure-conscious heart of our being. We are no longer victims of fate but instead, we are powerful creators of our destiny.
“Our soul is the all-knowing, ever-existing, pure-conscious home within us. It guides us to live a life in harmony with our deepest truth. When we embody our soul, we are whole and divine.”, Kate Watkinson
Our soul is the all-knowing, ever-existing, pure-conscious home within us. All-knowing; beyond our IQ to a richer intuition, certainty, discernment, and omniscience. Ever-existing; beyond the physical constraint of one lifetime to ever-lasting, boundless, expansiveness. Pure-consciousness; beyond mundane functioning to a peacefully alert state of oneness and bliss.
Soul inspiration is vital to my well-being. I prioritise bringing soul-inspiring activities such as meditation, yoga, conscious breathing and gratitude into every single day. Other soul-inspiring practices that I bring into my week are being in nature, prayer, dance, gardening and connecting with my family.
Answering the call of my soul is what inspires me to raise my family, create my sacred work, and live in alignment. Listening to my soul and taking heartful action means I’m living my truth with a sense of purpose and reverence.
My belief is that rather than focusing on happiness as a life goal, we instead focus on living soulfully, with a sense of purpose, reverence and truth. It may not always be easy or fun but it will always be true and soulful.
